shell, 2024

Shell Movements 2 is a new series of vases seen alongside bark. Expanding on the previous collection, these are made using the unique process of pressing porcelain against an MDF sheet mould. The machine-cut mould meets the human hand and layer upon layer, a sense of movement and a dynamism emerges from the clay to create a seemingly organic form.
