Three large, spiral-shaped sculptures made of white material are displayed on white pedestals in an art gallery, with a white wall and hooks in the background.

Shell is a series of works exploring the interplay between intentional composition and the live performance of making. Taking inspiration from music, the series expresses a choreography of actions—rotation, direction, and duration (incremental change).

Shell 2 investigates a larger step size, amplifying the layered shifts as the mould is assembled. It follows the same underlying composition—one of balance, a dynamic push and pull between a central core and outward expansion, guided by the Fibonacci sequence.

Though the compositional framework remains consistent, each outcome is entirely unique. The process cannot be repeated in exactly the same way, echoing the ephemeral nature of live musical performance.
